The thick, consistent lubricant does not liquefy or separate with hot aging; it scoops and applies easily to wire and cable without runs or drips in hot temperatures; and it will not evaporate too soon after pulls. The lubricants low friction coefficient lessens the chance of wire damage from high pulling forces, wipes off the cable quickly and cleanly and leaves less residue in the conduit to block future pulls or prevent removal. Because Wire Pulling Lubricant Wax can be immersed in water for 30 minutes with minimal weight loss, it is also the choice for wet weather applications.

It is designed to free stuck cable (and cable bundles) by softening the binding materials (wax, rust, soap, dirt, adhesive, residue, bitumen, etc.). It lubricates to ease cable removal, leaves empty conduit undamaged and ready for re-use after cleaning and drying and it lowers duct reclamation costs by eliminating expensive cut-ins once the cable has broken free. Loosener does not allow reuse of cable being removed as they may be ruined by the solvent nature of the product and the high pulling forces required for removal.
