Microsemi ZARLINK

Zarlink Semiconductor Corporation (formerly Microsemi) is a fabless semiconductor firm specialized in the design and production of semiconductor integrated circuits, modules, and other equipment for communications and medical applications. Microsemi bought Zarlink in a hostile takeover in 2011 and incorporated it into its own business. Wired communication, optical fiber communication, wireless communication, and medical integrated circuits with exceptionally low power consumption are among the key items.
