What is enhancement mode transistor?

The Mode of Enhancement Metal Oxide Semiconductor Field Effect Transistor (MOSFET) is a three-terminal device that includes the Source (S), gate (G), and Drain (D) (D). MOSFETs are voltage-controlled devices. The EMOSFET can only be used in enhancement mode.
