What is Texas Instruments BQ2000SN?

The Texas Instruments BQ2000SN is a programmable, monolithic IC designed for fast-charge management of nickel cadmium (NiCd), nickel metal-hydride (NiMH), or lithium-ion (Li-Ion) batteries.
